Fall/Winter Fashion 2012 Alert - September "E" Lookbook

I told you that I was going to do a post this week about upcoming Fall Fashion for 2012. Not wanting to disappoint, I decided to write it today. Its always good to have knowledge of the upcoming trends. But you should always put a spin on it to make it your own look, that reflects your own style. In today's post you will see a lot of runway concepts (64 to be exact). Of course on the runway it's all about innovation, imagination, recreating, dreaming, couture etc. (you get the picture). So I am NOT in anyway suggesting you look at the picture and go out and buy the "exact" replica of the clothing the model is wearing. Take a snapshot of the fabrics, silhouettes, trends and incorporate them in your own way to enhance your own personal style. And always remember....STAY TRUE TO YOUR OWN STYLE AESTHETIC!

This fall brings a host of trends including military inspired clothing, all white, patterned suits, embroidery, glitter, and even a shiny laminate finish. Here is a glimpse of some of the top trends.

FURRY ACCENTS

WHITE OUT

THE MATRIX - ALL BLACK EVERYTHING

MILITARY MINDED

GLOBAL ARISTOCRAT

GRANNY CHIC - LACE, TWEED, AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN

OXBLOOD RED

SEXY SHEATHS

PATTERNED SUITS

BARE NECESSITIES

EVERYTHING THAT GLITTERS IS NOT GOLD

LAMINATE FINISH AKA SHINY LEATHER

WITTY SWEATERS

EMBROIDERY, EMBROIDERY, EMBROIDERY

I know this post gave you a lot to digest for your fashion pallet. And hopefully, you didn't have a fashion overload! The point of showing you such a diverse group of collections was/is to help you dissect each category to see if any of the trends can fit into your everyday lifestyle. My challenge to you is to think outside the box and challenge your fashion sense (pun intended) to elevate you to the next fashion plateau this Fall.
