Sick Day

Over the weekend I had the pleasure of seeing some of my family members (my mom, aunts, and a slew of cousins) in Atlanta! It was such an awesome time to be able to parlay with family. Between all the fun with the fam, I somehow got sick :(  I hardly ever get sick. But when it happens it sucks. So I talked it over with the hubby and said I would take a sick day today to recuperate, so my body could get the well deserved tender loving care it needs (to get better)!

SICK DAY ESSENTIALS
Are you stuck in the house because you're sick? Here's a list of must haves to help you through the day!
Rest and relaxation, tissue, medicine, OJ, soup and crackers, hot tea, comfy lounge wear, Netflix, a good book or magazine, nail polish (so you can do the perfect in home mani/pedi), popcorn, journal, and a computer/tablet. This should help you get over your sniffles and coughs in no time!

  1. Love it. I felt a sick day coming on but I can't afford to take off so I made a concoction to get me better! But If I could stay home trust me your list would have came in handy!

  2. When I'm concouis about what I eat, I tend to avoid sickness. However, when I do feel things coming on, I drink two big bottle of the Bolthouse Farms' Vitamin C Boost smoothie. It knocks it out. Then I gotta go to sleep to let my body fight.

    1. I just tried that Vitamin C Boost Smoothie for the first time. It was pretty tasty. I will have to keep that in mind next time I feel something brewing. Thanks for the tip.
