#ThrowbackThursday - "Essence Style on the Streets

So as I was writing in my Ali's Fashion Sense journal this morning I've been brainstorming how I could improve my blog to heighten my Fashion Senser's overall experience when you visit the Fashion Sense. Through this time of reflection I decided I would implement #ThrowbackThursdays (orginating from Twitter...I think). On #ThrowbackThursdays I will highlight either a fashion icon from the past, old fashion trends, or just put up some throwback pictures or fashion articles that I've stumbled across. If you have any suggestions for potential #ThrowbackThursday contenders let me know :)

So for the first edition of #ThrowbackThursdays I am highlighting an exciting moment in my life. Last year (February 2011, it was an early birthday gift), I was featured in Essence Magazine's Style on the Streets spread rocking a Camel Poncho from H&M, Brown Leggings from Forever 21, Brown Turtleneck unknown, Suede Boots from Aldo, Sunglasses from Aldo, Gold Earrings and Cream & Gold Ring from Forever 21. The Editors even wrote a short sentence about my poncho titled "Poncho Power."

I was featured in Style on the Streets in Essence Magazine, it was a dream come true!

Its the Love Edition...my favorite month of the year!!!!
